Lithium CR2450 Battery Equivalents and Replacements
Lithium CR2450 battery is a very popular button/coin-cell battery, used in various devices that require a compact and reliable source of power with relatively high capacity.
Lithium CR2450 battery is manufactured by most popular brands that often use different labels, leading to slight confusion.
Also, several different chemistries are used for making batteries featuring these dimensions, and each chemistry offers different discharge characteristics.

Lithium CR2450 Battery Features and Specifications
CR2450 battery is a non-rechargeable Lithium Manganese Dioxide (LiMnO2) 3.0 volts battery, featuring physical dimensions of (D x W) 24.5 x 5.0 mm (~0.9645 x 0.1968 inches), a nominal voltage of 3.0 volts, a cutoff voltage of 2.0 volts, and nominal capacity of 500-620 mAh.
Also, the standard continuous drain current is 0.2-0.3 mA and the maximum allowed pulse current is 2-3 mA.
Note: actual capacity depends on the battery age, discharge current, discharge temperature, actual cutoff voltage of the device, and similar, and can be less than 500 mAh, but also more than 620 mAh.
Operating temperature is usually in the -20°C and +60°C range, but there are also models that operate reliably in the -30°C and +85°C.
Shelf life differs significantly depending on the battery quality and is usually between 3 and 10 years.
The most common label of the LiMnO2 24.5x5.0 mm button/coin cell is CR2450, but other labels are used as well, including CR2450N, DL2450, ECR2450, BR2450, BR2450-1W, CR2450N, KCR2450, LM2450, 5029L, etc.
Due to its features, the CR2450 battery is commonly used in calculators, medical devices, PDAs, as CMOS battery (motherboard battery), garage door openers, in micro-LED flashlights, etc.
CR2450 batteries are available as 'common' button/coin cells and with soldering tabs.
Lithium BR2450 vs CR2450 Battery
BR2450 battery is a non-rechargeable Lithium Carbon Monofluoride battery featuring a nominal voltage of 2.8 volts, a cutoff voltage of 2.25 volts, and a nominal capacity of 500-550 mAh.
With the advancements in chemistry, modern Lithium Carbon Monofluoride batteries, in general, have the nominal and cutoff voltage practically equal to Lithium Manganese Dioxide batteries - 3.0 and 2.0 volts respectively.
The standard continuous drain current of the BR2450 battery is 0.03 mA, with pulse currents mostly not recommended.
Operating temperature is usually in the -30°C and +80°C range, but there are models that operate reliably in -40°C and +125°C range.
Another important feature of BR2450 batteries is their very low self-discharge rate of 0.5-1.0% per year - their shelf life is 10+ years easily.
Thus, BR2450 batteries are used instead of CR2450 batteries for powering low drain devices, often in extreme environments, most commonly as CMOS battery, clock backup battery, and similar.
BR2450 batteries are also available as 'common' button/coin cells and with soldering tabs.
Rechargeable LiR2450 Battery
LiR2450 battery is a rechargeable lithium 3.6-3.7 volts battery with physical dimensions of 24.5 x 5.0 mm, featuring nominal capacity in the 100-150 mAh range.
The main differences between CR2450 and LiR2450 batteries in the voltage, capacity, and of course, rechargeable feature.
Voltage difference - due to the voltage difference of ~0.6-0.7 volts, not all devices powered by the CR2450 battery will operate properly when powered by the LiR2450 battery. Actually, this voltage difference may even damage some more sensitive units.
Thus, unless the Owner's Guide of the device you have lists 3.6-3.7V LiR2450 batteries as supported battery type, do NOT replace CR2450 battery with LiR2450 battery.
Capacity difference - CR2450 battery features a much larger capacity than the LiR2450 battery. But, the LiR2450 battery may be recharged up to 500-1000 times, which is a lot.
Note: When charging LiR2450 batteries, be sure to use battery chargers specifically intended for such batteries.
Also, LiR2450 batteries feature a much larger self-discharge rate than CR2450 batteries, and is usually 10-30% per year, sometimes even more.

DL2450 vs CR2450 Battery
Duracell CR2450 battery is labeled as DL2450 battery, thus DL2450 battery may be used instead of CR2450 batteries from other brands.
Also, the Duracell DL2450 battery may be replaced by a high-quality CR2450 battery from other reputable brands.
CR2430 vs CR2450 Battery
CR2430 battery is non-rechargeable lithium 3.0 volts battery with a typical capacity of 270-300 mAh and physical dimensions of 24.5 x 3.0 mm.
As one can see, the CR2430 battery may fit the battery compartments intended for CR2450 batteries, but potential issues are contacts. Also, CR2430 features much lower capacity and lower drain currents, which may cause certain devices to malfunction.
For short - do NOT replace the CR2450 battery with the CR2430 battery, except perhaps in utmost urgency at your own risk!
CR2032 vs CR2450 Battery
CR2032 battery is another very popular non-rechargeable lithium 3.0 volts battery with physical dimensions of 20 x 3.2 mm and a much lower capacity of 'only' 220-230 mAh.
Due to the large differences between these batteries, they cannot be used interchangeably - and people should NOT even try to do that.
CR2450 Battery Safety Issues
CR2450 and similar batteries should be delivered in so-called kids' or pets' safe packages.
CR2450 batteries are shiny objects that can get swallowed (not easily as some smaller batteries), and due to their voltage and capacity, they can cause lethal chemical burns very quickly due to the electrolysis.
If CR2450 or any similar battery gets swallowed, contact immediately the nearest emergency center, explain what happen and act according to their instructions.
Although modern CR2450 batteries don't contain mercury, cadmium, and other similar pollutants, they should be disposed off properly - recycle them!
Long Story Short: If You are looking for a new CR2450 battery, go for the batteries from reputable brands that have a shelf life of at least 5+ years.
Also, check the battery reviews of other users that have already tested such batteries in countless real-life situations.
And whatever You do, keep the batteries away from kids and pets.
