YTX20L-BS and YTX20HL-BS batteries feature the same physical dimensions, but they differ in performances.
Their physical dimensions are (L x W x H) 6.875 x 3.4375 x 6.125 inches (175 x 87 x 155 mm), while their weight depends on the their chemistry - lead-acid YTX20L-BS and YTX20HL-BS batteries on average weigh 11 - 14 pounds (~5 - 6.35 kg), while lithium YTX20L-BS and YTX20HL-BS batteries weigh 3-3.5 pounds (~1.36 - 1.6 kg), rarely more.
Lead-acid YTX20L-BS and YTX20HL-BS batteries are mostly sealed AGM and sometimes Gel-cell batteries, with the flooded models not being very popular anymore.

The main advantage of lithium batteries is their lightweight design - with an average weight of 3 - 3.5 pounds, they are ~8 - 11 pounds lighter than similar lead-acid batteries.
However, although lithium batteries have even higher starting currents and are able to crank rather large engines, they also have smaller capacity - if your vehicle has a parasite load of some kind (alarm, remote lock, and similar), even a very small parasite load can discharge 6-10Ah battery relatively quickly.
Also, weight savings of 8-11 pounds on vehicles that weigh several hundred pounds is almost unnoticeable, unless You are a pro rider.
But, some people prefer lithium batteries and their ability to easily crank larger engines, and the weight savings they offer.
